Oui, c’est vrai! We’re headed to the U.S.—and couldn’t be more thrilled!


When we started SMG 3 years ago, little did we know that our small startup’s unconventional approach to digital storytelling would capture the attention of fellow business creatives across the Atlantic…


Let’s face it. Today’s media world is oversaturated: bogged down by big corporation ads and boring business presentations… which is why it’s more important than ever to stand out. Dare to be different!


To capture people’s attention in 2016, digital storytelling has become essential for U.S. companies. You have to spark emotion—tell an impactful story!—to create impact and convey a message. SMG knows this. It recognizes storytelling’s entertaining “wow” factor, and is reshaping the way stories are told on modern media.


So after attending FoST (Future of Storytelling) back in October, where reinventing the way stories are told was the topic of conversation, we’re jetting to two innovative meet-ups in America this month: SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington DC and La French Touch Conference in New York City.


We’re ready to foster new friends in the U.S. who can benefit from our unique approach to digital storytelling to connect with real people!


From June 19-21 at the Capitol, CEO Tarek Issa will represent SMG at the highest-profile U.S. event promoting Foreign Direct Investment: SelectUSA Investment Summit. As one of a lucky few startups to be part of the French Delegation to represent France, and with U.S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley as our travel mate, we’ll mix and mingle with global corporations, government officials, and international economic development leaders to promote Franco-American relations. (P.S. President Barack Obama will be back this year. Stay tuned for tweets from his speech!)


While powering across the East Coast, Tarek will stop in the Big Apple, where he’ll rub shoulders with a mix of Franco-American creatives at the third edition of La French Touch, from June 21-22. We’re all smiles as one of the 5 French startups from the French Delegation to head to NYC and come face to face with leading French and American entrepreneurs!
